"As a teenager growing up in the central suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, I was interested in hairdressing and culinary school. Many encouraged me to become a chef, but i was much more intriqued by the fashion and beauty side of hairdressing. I ultimately decided hairdressing was the way to go. With the finacial and mental support of my mother, she allowed me to start my career in hairdressing at Pivot Point Hair Design College. I will never regret the change in direction.  The beauty, fashion, and the passion for hair drove me further to excel my skills. The amazing support of my family, friends, peers and most of all my clients is the drive that gets me to always do better.

Heading Out Hair & Beauty located in my hometown in Melbourne, has guided me through my hairdressing career and is where most of my skills and experience began. A leader in her own world, Caterina DiBiase, the Artistic Director of Heading Out Hair Art Team, has inspired as well as motivated me.  Her intriguing and creative art skills has allowed me to learn and become more creative as each day goes by.  With every opportunity that i had training with her, i have learned the vital skills necessary in the art of hair.

Participating in several competitions in Australia, I've attended and assisted in the L'oReal Fashion Week, a finalist in the L'oREal Session Star Stylist Competition, placed first in the HBIA (Hair & Beauty Industry Association) as well as the Australian Championships in the Bridal Category. My entire experience has created an immense interest in furthering my skills and abilities. I decided to venture away from Australia and travel to Canada to see what the hairdressing industry here has to offer me, while enjoying a little bit of the snow!"
